Thank you Fringe TheatreFest, Barnstaple

Thank you Fringe TheatreFest, Barnstaple. I had a great time. It really is a great festival. Great atmosphere, supportive team and great work.

Here is a review from my performance at the festival.

i never did...

Jessie Percival

Choreographer and performer Jessie Percival is the solo cast member of I Never Did…, an intriguing play which explores her grandmother’s role in her upbringing. The narrative is expressed through dance and mime, with the play’s unique qualities lying in the use of chalk on the stage floor which is used to illustrate the grandmother’s living room. The graceful movement around the space combined with poetic verses from A.A. Milne’s When They Were Very Young creates a truly mesmerizing performance. Undertones of regret and anger in the dialogue are a great contrast to the mellow instrumental music that accompanies it. Watch the chalk rub away on the floor as Percival retells her childhood memories and accept her invitation to hear her story in such an intimate setting.
